The main goal of the organization is to provide information. We want students to know where and how they can obtain cheaper, more sustainable foods. This is done by spreading information regarding existing systems/resources that the school provides to students (ASUCD Pantry and the Aggie Compass Basic Needs Center), nonprofits (Davis Night Market and Freedge), and coupons/sales in groceries and stores that sell food. Another goal is to teach students how to cook the basics, and learning recipies that can easily fit into their schedule, or foods that can be eaten hours after being made (like bentos). A third goal that the organization has is to promote sustainability. We will inform club members about work/volunteer opportunities available at food rescues, food banks, etc.
